Data Donkey is an AI workflow and automation consultancy based in Glasgow, Scotland, operated by Gary Corkell. For any enquiries regarding data protection or your personal information, please email hello@datadonkey.co.uk.
Lawful basis for processing
We collect and process your contact details and message under the lawful basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) to review, correspond with, and respond to your business enquiry, assess project feasibility, and provide requested automation proposals.
Information sent through the contact form
When you submit a message via our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject, and project details. Request metadata (such as IP address and timestamp) is processed temporarily for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and duplicate detection.
Please provide only the business context required to understand your enquiry. Submitting an enquiry does not add you to marketing newsletters or unsolicited mailing lists.
Email delivery & service providers
We use Resend as our transactional email delivery service to forward your message to our inbox and send an automated receipt to your email address. Service providers operate under data processing terms that require appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. Our web infrastructure is hosted on secure Linux servers with encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
Data retention
Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to 12 months from our last communication if no active commercial project proceeds, after which it is securely deleted. If you become a client, project documentation and invoices are retained in line with UK statutory accounting and legal record-keeping requirements (typically 6 years).
Website storage & cookies
This website uses only essential browser storage (such as theme preference and language settings) necessary for core site functionality. We do not use third-party behavioral advertising or retargeting cookies.
Your rights under UK GDPR
